Agrabatti - Beyond the Sun

Brought to life during the latter part of 2008, AGRABATTI came to form after project creator Chad Davis left the band U.S. CHRISTMAS. The need to continue the space rock stylings he contributed was high, and he wasted no time in writing and recording. Taking on the inspiration of the early days of the Space Rock scene of bands such as Brainticket, Ash Ra Tempel, Amon Duul II and Hawkwind, the AGRABATTI sound was sculpted out of the love for volume and fuzz. After tunes were written and a few live shows happened, the project was put on hold as a few other projects needed priority. Fast forward some 11 years later and the project was unearthed, revamped and recharged with the LP release of "Beyond the Sun" on Interstellar Smoke Records in 2020. Now in 2022, Echodelick Records has released "Beyond the Sun" on limited edition cassette tape, with plans as well for the next full album.
